Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Friday, May 7, Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington.
Jacob was born July 25, 1977 in Arlington, TX. He grew up in Hewitt, TX, graduating from Midway High School in 1996. After studying Commercial Art at TSTC - Waco, he eventually settled in Athens, making a career in the HVAC industry the past 20 years, most recently working for Ken's Comfort Zone in Mabank TX. Given his love for helping people, keeping them comfortable seemed the perfect role for him. Growing up, Jacob enjoyed building and racing go-karts and martial arts with his Dad. He possessed enviable artistic skills, always painting or creating literally something from nothing. He also enjoyed playing the crypto-currency market, helping his Nana with her rent houses, playing guitar, and riding his Indian motorcycle. He had a love for animals, always having a four-legged friend or two. Jacob was firm in his faith of our Lord, Jesus Christ and was a member of First Christian Church of Athens, TX.
Jake was greeted at Heaven's gates with open arms by his dad, Darrell Forson, formerly of Arlington, a host of Grandparents, Great Grandparents, and his Aunt Susie. He is survived by his three children, Trevor, Tatum and Tanner Forson of Gun Barrel City; mothers, Patricia Sparks of Rowlett, TX and Susan Forson of Arlington, TX; Stepdad, Russell Sparks; Grandmother, Shirley Bow (Nana) and husband, Jack; sister, Ginger Cochran and husband, Michael; brothers, Brandon Sparks and wife, Jorja, and Lance Sparks and wife, Dallas; nephews and nieces Jack, Samuel, Noah, Triston, Anniston, Raegan, Layla and Jaxson; many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; and special friend, Manda Sevick. Jacob had many other friends, too numerous to list. Know that each of you held a special place in his heart.
