ARLINGTON -- Jackie "Jack" Lawrence Adams passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, in Arlington.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Inurnment: First United Methodist Church, Fort Worth, at a later date.
Memorials: May be made to First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth, Odyssey Hospice or a charity of one's choice.
Jack was born Jan. 2, 1941, in Hobart, Okla., to Lawrence and Juanita "Jackie" Adams. He worked at Freight Master in Fort Worth from 1963-2000.
Jack was an avid fisherman and enjoyed sharing his catches with many at Lake Arlington. He loved his family and instilled in them the love of fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: Wife, Nancy Adams; sons, Chris Adams and wife, Mary, Brad Adams and wife, Becky, and Mike Adams and wife, Carrie; daughter, Laura Nowell and husband, Aaron; sister, Judy Marin and husband, Glenn; aunts, Marguerite Blakemore and Mayona Benson; grandchildren, Ryane, Haden, Addyson, Melanie, Bryson, Mayson and Jaclyn; great-granddaughter, Sadie; and numerous cousins, family and friends.
