GRAND PRAIRIE -- J. Marie Brimmage, 92, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, in Mansfield. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, with the Rev. Bobby Bridges officiating. Interment: 11 a.m. Thursday in Crestview Memorial Park Mausoleum, Wichita Falls. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Covenant Care, 3221 Collinsworth St., Suite 160, Fort Worth, Texas 76107, or Mayfield Road Baptist Church, God is Able, 1701 E. Mayfield Road, Arlington, Texas 76014. Marie was born Sept. 10, 1921, in Seymour to Ardis Parker and Maude Lemons Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.S. Brimmage; a daughter, Carolyn Lively; and brothers and sisters. Survivors: Daughter, Shirley Travis and husband, Vic, of Grand Prairie; brother, Bill Parker and wife, Margie, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; grandchildren, Steven and wife, Jann, of Mansfield, Chris and wife, Brenda, of Wylie, Tiffany of Addison and Taryn of Wichita Falls; and great-grandchildren, Sydney, Clayton, Chandler, Ethan and Carter.
