Ilkay Orscuoglu, affectionately known to many as Kay, peacefully passed away on March 2, 2023.
She was born in Wiesensteig, Germany to Necla Kilci and Yilmaz Orscuoglu on September 28, 1966.
At a young age, Kay relocated to the United States and created her own successful American Dream. She enjoyed cooking for her family, listening to music out loud and dancing with her grandchildren. She had a strong passion for the elderly and disabled community and volunteered her time to serve them locally and internationally on mission trips. She was a member of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, GA and dedicated her life to Christ in 2016.
Kay committed over 25 years of her life working retail and in telecommunications management on a district and regional level. Her exemplary leadership skills propelled her into several achievements and allowed her to impact numerous lives while creating life-long friendships. She was admired for her resilience, compassion, wit and fashionable style.
Whether you knew Kay for decades or for minutes, her presence was unforgettable. Her wisdom, her passion, and the sound of her laugh was contagious. Kay is survived by her loving mother, Necla Orscuoglu; her daughters, Meka Miller and Jordan Mills; her grandchildren, Jayden Nicholas, Leyla Smith and Elijah Smith; her brother, Alpay Orscuoglu; her sister-in-love, Mehtap Orscuoglu and her nephews, Kaan Orscuoglu (his wife Cidem Orscuoglu) and Kubilay Orscuoglu.
She was preceded in death by her father, Yilmaz Orscuoglu. She will be forever cherished and remembered by family and friends.
