Humberto "Bert" George, 80, passed away on October 23, 2019 in Mabank, Texas. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be on Saturday, November 2 at the Las Rucias Cemetery in Los Indios, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isabel and Alicia George; sister, Corine Cruz; brother, Jacob George; and brother-in-law, Louis Cruz. Survivors: Sherry Rountree; son, Jeffery "Jeff" George; daughter, Jennifer Rountree Braun and husband Carl; brothers, Arnold George and wife Santa, Eleazar George and wife Oralia, and Eliud George; sister, Lydia Boehl and husband Ed; granddaughter, Monica Braun; and numerous nieces and nephews.
