ARLINGTON – Hubert Edward Durbin, 79, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 in Arlington. Inurnment: At a later date at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. Ed was born on July 13, 1937 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Anthony Durbin and Theresa Alberta Bell Durbin. He served in the U.S. Army. Ed worked as a self-employed carpenter. He loved reading and wood-working. Ed was a diehard Texas Rangers Baseball Club fan. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. Survivors: Wife, Diane Durbin; daughters, Carol Reames (Tina Alexander) and children, Olivia and Will; Emily Ryan (Christopher) and children, Elizabeth, Robyn and Caroline; Debbie Butt (Mohammad) and children, Jamie, Sarah, Kiran, Aisha, Alina and Ahmed; sister, Jean Carol Ward (Paul); 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
