Homer Leon Dudley Sr., 87, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 in Arlington.
Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 14, at Faith Tabernacle Church, 507 E Randol Mill Rd, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Homer was born on December 13, 1929 in Carlisle, Arkansas to Homer Lewis Dudley and Zelma Grant Wooten Dudley. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. An Arlington resident for the past 60 plus years, he was a founding member of Faith Tabernacle Church where he was head Usher. Homer retired from General Motors prior to owning a Sewer and Drain Co. for several years.
He loved drag racing, bowling, collecting tools and his dogs.
Homer was preceded in death by his daughter, Betty Davis; son, Howard Dudley; brother, Lewis Dudley; sister, Edna Marie Davis; and grandson, Joshua Davis.
Survivors: Wife of 55 years, Patricia Dudley; sons, Michael Davis and wife, Laura, Leon Dudley and wife, Sherilena, and Tommy Dudley and wife, Misty; daughter, Carla Felker and husband, Chuck; sister, Loretta Saylor; grandchildren, Jesse, Michelle, Will, Tonia, Joshua, Stephanie, Garret, Bryen, Monica, Katlin, Phoebe, David, Jeremy, Jennifer, Mikala; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
