ARLINGTON -- "Mac" McConnell, 81, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014. Graveside service: 3:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bonnie McConnell; brother, Joe McConnell; brother, John McConnell; and son, Leonard McConnell. Survivors: He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances of Arlington; son, Stan McConnell of Arlington; daughter, Pam Ernest and her partner, Alan Herrington, of Belton; granddaughter, Brandy Moncrief and husband, Lee, of Belton; and great-grandsons, Reece Pickett and Reed Pickett of Belton.
