Helen V. Williams, 99, of Arlington, TX died December 18th, 2017. Funeral Mass: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5819 W. Pleasant Ridge Rd., Arlington. Visitation: 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Funeral arrangements by Wade Family Funeral Home. Helen was born in Peoria, IL, the third oldest of six born to William and Clara Holtzman. She was educated at Bradley University in Peoria and received her degree in Home Economics. On June 5, 1943 Helen was married to Charles S. Williams in Logan, Utah. They had 9 children. Helen used her Home Economics degree as a seamstress in her early years and then on to a full time mom. She was a devoted wife to Charles Williams who died in December 1995. She enjoyed numerous friends, was an accomplished cook and homemaker. She loved to play bridge and go to garage sales. Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles; 2 sons, Gary and Greg; her brother, John; and sisters, Mary, Fran, Lucille and Jean. Survivors: She leaves behind her daughter-in-law, Kathy Williams; children, Tom Williams and wife, Helen, Steve Williams and wife, Donna, Mary O'Keeffe and husband, John, Ann Langenderfer, Bill Williams and wife, Chris, Fran Jackson and husband, Danny and Martin Williams and wife, Melinda; and numerous other family members and friends.
