Helen Louise Eason, 94, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at her home in Fort Worth. Graveside Services will be on Saturday, July 17, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tarrant County Meals on Wheels or Community Hospice of Fort Worth. Helen was born on October 1, 1926 in Leonard, Texas to Roy Floyd and Una Vera (Henry) Dodson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tarrant County Meals on Wheels or Community Hospice of Fort Worth. Helen was an avid gardener and enjoyed birdwatching. She loved reading books and listening to gospel music, especially the Gaither Vocal Band and Alan Jackson. She was a very spiritual person, and her family had a special place in her heart. She learned at an early age how precious family was, being one of eleven children. After high school graduation at Bonham High School in 1944, she started working at Hardwicke – Etter Ammunition in Sherman, Texas. Helen married Glen Eason and became a homemaker, taking care of her husband and their children, moving the family to the MetroPlex in 1953. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Glen, in 2006, and her parents, Roy Floyd and Una Vera (Henry) Dodson. She is survived by her sons, Tommy Joe Eason and wife Brenda and Glen L. Eason Jr. and wife, Darla; grandsons, Daniel Eason and wife, Angela, Zach Eason and fiance, Jessica, Michael Eason, Matthew Eason and Ethan Dorsett and fiance Alyssa Vogel; her sister, Francine McGuire and one great-grandchild, Paige Eason. She will also be greatly missed by a host of close family and friends as well. Wade Family Funeral Home 817-274-9233
