Heath Patrick Butcher, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on December 8, 2023, in Arlington, Texas. He was born on December 18, 1976, in Waterloo, Iowa, to his loving parents, John and Jana Butcher.

Heath was known for his intelligence, strong-willed nature, and his unwavering commitment to his beliefs. Family meant everything to him, and he cherished the close bond he shared with his parents and his brother, John Butcher Jr.

Throughout his life, Heath made a lasting impact on those around him with his compassionate and giving spirit. He valued his friends dearly and was always there to lend a helping hand. Known for his big heart, Heath would go out of his way to assist anyone in need.

Heath had a deep passion for animals, sharing a special bond with his pet squirrel whom he lovingly cared for. Additionally, he was an avid lover of the outdoors, often indulging in hikes with his friends in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. He delighted in exploring the wonders of nature and had a particular interest in archeology and the mysteries of the solar system.

Heath’s strong work ethic and determination were evident in his professional life. He successfully managed a couple of bars and later found his niche in the audio/visual industry. He started his own business, installing audio-visual equipment, and left behind a legacy of excellence and integrity in his chosen field.

Heath was deeply loved and will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and countless others whose lives he touched. He leaves behind a void that can never be filled. Surviving him is his father, John Butcher Sr., his mother, Jana Butcher, and his brother, John Butcher Jr., along with his wife, Nikki. He also leaves behind cherished cousins, Chase Tenney and wife, Ashley; Spencer Tenney and wife, Lauren; Ashlie Terry; Brad Terry; Oliver Dubester; and Christy Capps Stacy. He took great joy in being an uncle to his nephews, Alex and Aden. He will also be missed by numerous friends, aunts, and uncles including Tina and Charles Tenney, and Bill and Nancy Terry.

Heath Patrick Butcher will be remembered as a compassionate, strong-willed individual who left an indelible mark on the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memories bring comfort to all who mourn his loss.
