Harvey Milton "Pete" Bruebaker

ARLINGTON -- Harvey Milton "Pete" Bruebaker, 82, passed away on Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, in Arlington. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday. Pete was born on March 21, 1932, in DeKalb to Marshall Bruebaker and Lilly Pippens Bruebaker. He was raised in DeKalb and resided in Arlington for 55 years. Pete worked for General Motors for 30 years. His passions were gardening and piddling with his cars. He loved to watch westerns on television. Survivors: Wife of 63 years, Laverne Gurley Bruebaker; son, Harvey Milton Bruebaker Jr.; daughter, Yvonne Hyer and husband, Clinton; grandchildren, David Collard and Kristina Chen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
