Harry James "Jim" Leonhart

ARLINGTON -- On Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, Jim Leonhart passed away after a brave battle with cancer. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation: 11 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, with family present from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Jim was born Dec. 19, 1943, in Fort Worth to Leo and Harry Leonhart. After graduating from Texas Tech he began his 32-year career in the electric utility industry. Jim was a member of Rolling Hills Country Club for 30 years and had many dear friends and golfing buddies there. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Emily Adams. Survivors: Wife of 39 years, Barbara; daughters, Lee Ann Leonhart of San Francisco and Lisa Adams and husband, Al, of Amarillo; granddaughters, Lindsey and Allie Adams; sister, Pam McCloud; niece, Kristin; nephew, Justin; and a host of family and friends.
