ARLINGTON -- Hal Thomas Perry, 67, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at the family home in Alvarado.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Hal was born Oct. 18, 1948, in Greenville. He was raised in Arlington, the son of former Arlington Police Chief Herman Perry and Sammy Jean Perry. He graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1967.
Hal married Lee Ann Miller on April 17, 1982, in Arlington. He retired from sales with Schwanns Food Service. A resident of Alvarado for the past 4 1/2 years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Hal loved his family and enjoyed watching his children's sports games.
He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws; and brother, Steve Perry.
Survivors: Wife, Lee Ann Perry; sons, Tyler Perry, Justin Perry and Stephen Lusby; brother, Paul Perry; sister, Janet Moore and husband, David; grandchildren, Addison Lusby and Mikah Lusby; and several nieces and nephews.
