ARLINGTON -- Grady Paul Woods, 85, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017, in Arlington.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, 1500 California Lane, Arlington.
Interment: Pleasant Point Cemetery, Alvarado.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Grady was born Nov. 16, 1931, in Strawn to Truman H. Woods and Rosa Lee Woods. He was raised in Brownwood where he played football for the Lions and was in the marching band.
Grady worked for Levines in retail management and also served many years in leadership positions at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he was a longtime member.
He was a preceded in death by his son, Gary Paul Woods; infant daughters, Paula and Pamela Woods; and sister, Marie Fields.
Survivors: Wife, Sandra Woods; son, Michael Dwayne Woods; daughters, Sabrina Annette Clinage, Jamie Rae Draeger and Alicia Karen Su; sister, Fayenell Holamon and husband, Travis; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
