Gloria Lee Cox

Gloria Lee Cox left her earthly home on 11/24/17. Gloria was born in Madison, Florida on 4/28/1930, but had lived in Arlington, Texas for 64 years. She was a career librarian at the Dallas Public Library and for 34 years with the Arlington Public Schools. Gloria is survived by Claude Cox, her husband of 61 years, and daughters Gloria Fahrenthold and Barbara Cox, plus her beloved granddaughter, Katherine Fahrenthold, along with her son-in-law Jon Fahrenthold. Gloria also has several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Her sisters and parents preceded her in death. A celebration of life will be held at First Christian Church, Arlington for Gloria who was a member there for over 50 years and had been honored as an Elder Emeritus. In lieu of flowers Gloria had requested that donations be made to the First Christian Church memorial fund.
