ARLINGTON -- Glenn Raymond Parma, 83, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, in Arlington. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1200 S. Davis Drive, Arlington. Rosary: 10 a.m. Saturday, prior to the service. Visitation: 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Maria Goretti Hope Fund. Glenn was born Nov. 21, 1931, in Schulenburg to Emerich J. Parma and Annie Brossman Parma. He graduated from Schulenberg High School in 1949 and Texas A&M University, class of 1953, where he received a BBA. Glenn married Leonida Berger at St. Mary's High Hill Catholic Church in 1954. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. Glenn retired from Bell Helicopter after 29 years in production/materials and management. A resident of Arlington for the past 50 years, he was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. Glenn loved life, family, Texas A&M University, and was a Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan. Survivors: Wife of 61 years, Leonida Berger Parma; son, Gary Parma and wife, Susan; daughters, Joan Parma, Carolyn Henry and Judy Hyde and husband, Joe; sister, Verann Simmons and husband, H.L.; sister-in-law, Joyce Parma; and grandchildren, Alix Henry/Moseley, Kourtnee McInturf, Kelsee McInturf, Kristen Henry, Shelby Hyde, Hayden Hyde and Reagan Hyde.
