Glenn Taylor Meredith

FORT WORTH -- Glenn Taylor Meredith, 62, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Glenn was born Sept. 3, 1953, to Fred and Shirley Meredith in Cocoa Beach, Fla., where his father was stationed with the Air Force. Later, Glenn accompanied his parents for a two-year military assignment in Germany. His parents later entered civilian life in Arlington, where Glenn attended public schools and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington. Glenn was an outstanding tennis player at Arlington High School and at UT-Arlington. He worked as a sales representative for Sherwin Williams Paint Co. He was a people person. He will be missed greatly by his many friends and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Anne Meredith. Survivors: Father, Fred Meredith; sons, Preston and wife, Katie, Travis and Matthew; daughter, Misty Meredith; granddaughter, Ellis Meredith; and brother, Daryl and wife, Nancy.
