Our sweet boy was only with us for a short time before he went to the Lord, but he changed our lives forever.
Saint Gerard is the patron of mothers with complicated pregnancies. Gerard is also a family name of the Smiths. Saint Michael is always fighting battles, as was our sweet baby. We felt these two names were fitting for our sweet bundle of joy!
Losing Gerard has been very difficult but knowing that our handsome little boy is not struggling or suffering and that he is in the arms of God brings some comfort to our hearts.
Gerard is so loved already and is missed dearly here on Earth, but he sure has a lot of family up in heaven to be with him while he waits on us!
Our faith will get us through this tough time. We smile during this hard time because we are so blessed in all aspects of life! We loved snuggling with our baby boy and spending some time as a family of three.
Gerard, Mommy and Daddy love you with all of our hearts and look forward to seeing you again!
