Geraldine "Gerry" Sondgroth, 89, died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Arlington, TX on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Funeral: 8 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2017 at Advent Lutheran Church, 3232 S. Cooper Street, Arlington, TX 76015. Interment: There will be a procession to Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211 for a 10:15 a.m. burial. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Elmer Taake; and her brother, Ronnie Taake. Survivors: Gerry is survived by her husband, Morris Sondgroth; two daughters, Carol Duckworth and Marie Dumesnil; son, Dennis Sondgroth and his wife, Anne; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
