ARLINGTON -- Gerald Keith Brown, 63, loving husband and father, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013 in Arlington after a long battle with cancer.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Monday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Lane A with Dr. J.B. Morris officiating.
Keith retired from the U.S. Navy where he spent 22 years of his life. He was a Senior Chief Fire Control Technician.
He enjoyed gunsmithing and customizing guns for several of his friends and family. Keith also loved hunting and fishing with his son, Alex. He had backyard barbeques where he shared his special recipes with his family and friends to enjoy.
Keith was born in Hutchinson, Kansas. He is the eldest son of Gerald Frank and Vee Brown of Hutchinson, Kansas.
Survivors: Beloved wife of 30 years, Chie; children, Alex and Tina, both of Arlington; grandsons, Isaiah and Nolan; sisters, Vickie Peter and Patti Sutton of Hutchinson, Kansas; brothers, Gerald Wayne of Grand Prairie, and Gerald LeRoy of Columbia, Missouri.
