ARLINGTON -- Gerald Graves "Jere" Craddock, 79, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014.
Funeral Service: 11:30 Tuesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington with Pastor Ken Kilinski and Reverend Linden Damschroder officiating. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment: 1:30 p.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Lane C.

Jere was born on August 10, 1934 in Martin, TN to Reuben Graves Craddock and Virginia Hardison Craddock. He served in the U.S. Navy and the Navy Active Reserve. An Arlington resident for the past 45 years, he retired as an aerospace engineer from LTV and Lockheed Martin. He was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Jere was proud of his family, having been a Naval aviator, and his six patents for weapons research. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf.
Survivors: Wife, Carole T. Craddock; sons, Gerald "Gary" Graves Craddock, Jr. and wife, Cathy, Col. Dr. Michael Raymond Craddock and wife, Ulli, and Kevin Hoshall Craddock and wife, Stephanie; grandchildren, Christopher, Raymond, Jessica, Thomas, Payne, Wesley; and his beloved dog, Schotzy.
