George Andrew McCants, 93, passed away on March 9, 2019 in Arlington. Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Monday, March 18th at 10:00 a.m., Lane 1 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at the funeral home. George was born on July 9, 1925 in Lindsey, Oklahoma to Walter McCants and Joe Westbrook McCants. A minister for 75 years, he was married to Anna Belle for 65 years. He owned Dalworthington Fence for 15 years. George was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Belle McCants; brother, Floyd McCants; great-grandson, Jeffery Don Williams; son-in-law, Bill Williams; granddaughter-in-law, Katherine Williams; and granddaughter, Karissa Crunk. Survivors: Daughters, Nancy Joe Williams, Martha Marlett and husband, Gary, Barbara Jones; adopted daughter, Karen Chagnon; grandchildren, Cary Williams, Tim Williams, Tracy Williams, Steven Williams, Kent Marlett, Stephanie Richardson, Eric Jones and Brandon Jones; 20 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
