Gay Lynne Dillman was born in Pueblo, Colorado on April 11, 1941, and passed away at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas on February 21, 2025. She was a 1959 graduate of East High School in Denver.
She worked as a travel agent in Pueblo, Colorado, the 1970’s, and as the Director of Arlington’s Fielder Museum in the 1990’s. She had many interests including event organization, music reading, wine, and dinner clubs, and volunteering for numerous charity organizations.
She was dedicated to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and always loved and was totally committed to spending time with them as frequently as possible.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Dillman, her brother, Gary Gatza of New York City, her sister Marianne Abell of Littleton Colorado, her daughters, Marianne Blair and Kelly Black, her sons Tom Koonce, Steve DeFau, and Troy Dillman. She had 10 grandchildren, Tommy, Tyler, Maeve, Miranda, Danielle, Katelyn, Lauren, Cade, Caleb, and Cory, and 5 great grandchildren, Raiden, Enzo, Anika, Rylan, and Tristan.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gaylord Edwin Gatza, mother Mary Olive Allen, her first husband, Terry T. Koonce and second husband Stanley DeFau.
Gay Lynne was dedicated to the welfare and happiness of others and lived her life accordingly. She will be missed by all and will forever live on in our hearts.
