Gary Paul Petroski

On Saturday April 1, 2023. Gary Paul Petroski passed away unexpectedly in his loving home at the early age of 59 years. Gary left behind his dedicated and compassionate wife Karen Clements and 2 beautiful daughters, Haley Petroski and Katrina Clements. He is survived by his mother Mary Ann Petroski and 3 siblings Raymond, Michael and Christine Petroski as well as his 2 faithful Yorkies Elle and Levi. He is also survived by his Aunts Josie Petroski, Betsy Herubin and Uncle Ray Herubin, along with 5 cousins Laura, Colleen, Diane, Cynthia and Kenny. All too early, he was preceded in death by his father Raymond John Petroski and Uncle Eddie Petroski.
Gary was well known for an array of accomplishments throughout his life. He was born on July 14, 1963 to Raymond John Petroski and Mary Ann Petroski in Frankford Center, New York. He graduated from Frankford Schuyler Central High School in 1981 and went on to serve our country as a U.S. Naval Flight Deckhand in the same year. He completed his service and was honorably discharged in 1985 and was respected as an active duty veteran. In the years to follow he chose to continue his service to our country by working for NASA for 2 years and NOAA for 7 years. His dedication and skills landed him an admired career with the National Weather Service for 23 years until his retirement on August 30, 2021.
The world will be a duller place without his infectious smile and giving heart in it. Please join us in celebrating his accomplishments as we lay him to rest on April 18, 2023 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75211. Services will begin at 1PM in the pavilion led by the United States Army Veteran Benjamin Sargent. Preceding the service will be a motorcade procession scheduled at 12PM leaving from the Wade Funeral Home at 4140 W Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, Texas 76013.
May the almighty God bless us with peace and understanding as we travel through life and may he greet us with open arms at the end of our journey. Rest in peace, Gary Paul Petroski, we will all be reunited in His heavenly kingdom in due time.
