ARLINGTON -- Gary Edward Howard, 68, paramedic for Arlington Memorial Hospital, passed away Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, in Arlington. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Gary had several careers over his lifetime. He served in the Army Reserves, owned and operated a trailer company, became a paramedic and guided hunters in Colorado. He loved to hunt, fish, scuba dive and canoe. Gary was loved by many friends and truly touched many lives. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dollie and his father, Overton Howard.
