Garry Lavern Nichter

ARLINGTON-Garry Nichter, 71, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Arlington. Celebration of Life: 2 p.m. Monday, December 28 at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Garry was born on June 27,1949 in Hamilton, Texas to Lawrence Nichter and Annie Zettler Nichter. He served in the U.S. Army and attended college. Garry retired from Xerox as a Senior Service Tech. He loved hunting and most of all fishing with friends and family. He loved to BBQ and had hoped to open Big Daddy's BBQ. Garry was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Nichter; mother, Annie Nichter; and other family members and friends. Survivors: Former wife, Pamela Nichter; son, Morgan Nichter and wife, Breanne; daughter, Mindy Skidmore and husband, Ray; 4 grandchildren; brother, Luther Nichter and wife, Diane; and many friends especially Perla and Alex.
