Garrett Frederick Steinhibel

Garrett “Gary” Frederick Steinhibel, 83, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 in Arlington, Texas. Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Gary was born September 3, 1934 to Frederick and Pearl Steinhibel in St. Paul Minnesota. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth (Bette) Jeanne Steinhibel, on October 16, 1954. Gary and Bette spent many happy years traveling in their motorhome, golfing, square dancing, and making friends across the country. He was employed by Burlington Northern Railroad for 41 years, and he retired in 1994. Gary was friends with Bill W. and Dr. Bob. He celebrated 50 years of sobriety on August 25, 2017. He leaves behind an unknown number of “like” friends in Minnesota and Texas. Survivors: Wife, Elizabeth; their four children, Paula Miller, Janine Burch, John and Joseph Steinhibel; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Wade Family Funeral Home (817) 274-9233
