ARLINGTON -- Frank Joseph Schrack, 69, passed away on Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, in Arlington.
Memorial service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorial visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Frank was born on Oct. 20, 1944, in Zanesville, Ohio, to Loy Schrack and Elizabeth Marie Hoffer Schrack. He served in the U.S. Army. Frank attended school to become a television technician. He retired from General Motors after 35 years of service.
Frank was an avid Texas Rangers Baseball Club fan. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, traveling and the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loy and Elizabeth Schrack; wife, Phyllis Schrack; and brother, Larry Schrack.
Survivors: Son, David Schrack; daughter, Tina Washington; brother, Jeff Schrack and wife, Teresa; sister, Rosemarie "Peach" Kuntz; grandchildren, Brandon, Whitney and Megan Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
