Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to Mission Arlington, 210 W. South St., Arlington, Texas 76010.
Patsy was born Jan. 22, 1926, in Grapevine to George Roy and Bessie Miller and was raised in Fort Worth. She met her husband, Bob, at church, and they were married April 18, 1947. A former member of Pantego Bible Church, she and her husband taught the 4- and 5-year-old class for 20 years. Patsy worked for Montgomery Ward and later for Vernon Miller Insurance and Real Estate in Arlington. She was a receptionist and bookkeeper for Dr. Robert Mann, pediatrician, for 27 years, and was dearly loved by the families of the children who were his patients. She was a loving mother, wife, granny and great-gran. She had a way of lighting up the room with her smile when she walked in, and others were drawn to the warmth of her personality. She made people feel welcome and wanted, yet she made no apologies for sharing her love of Jesus, her Savior, with anyone who would listen to her. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, and her husband.
Survivors: Daughter, Toni Zavatson and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Kristi Thomas and husband, Aaron, and Kari Atteberry and husband, Justin; and great-grandsons, Carter Thomas and Rylan Atteberry.
