Frances Norene Hethcox Lock

ARLINGTON -- Frances Norene Hethcox Lock, 79, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, entered into heaven Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012. Graveside service: 9 a.m. Saturday in West Hill Cemetery, 1304 W. Lamar, Sherman, Pastor Clark Bosher officiating. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Fran was born in Sherman to Thomas Oral and Lorene Hethcox on April 10, 1933. Fran attended Sherman High School. She married Joseph Sidney Lock on Jan. 10, 1960. Fran and her husband moved in 1968 to Woodville, where she opened her own salon, Fran's Cut and Curl. In addition to her beautician career, she raised her family and was always active in supporting their activities. She and her family were faithful members of the Baptist church in Woodville. Fran loved to spend time with her family and she loved to paint. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors: Brother, John and wife, Wilma; sister, JoAnn; daughter, Lorna and husband, Doug; son, Scott and wife, Julie; and grandchildren, Ryan, Jacob and JoElla.
