Fanuel Otuke Ogato, 65, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2021 in Fort Worth, TX.
Visitation: 5pm-8pm on Thursday, April 1, at Wade Family Funeral Home.
Funeral service: 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Arrival from 9am.
Interment: He will be laid to rest at Skyvue Memorial Gardens, Mansfield at 1pm after church service.
Fanuel was born on December 12, 1955 in Kisii, Kenya to Elkanah Ogato Moronge and Jeliah Nyanchwa. An Arlington resident for the past 30+ years. Fanuel worked as an information technician with Sky Chefs (DFW).
Fanuel was a church elder with Alpha International S.D.A. Church for many years. He was a strong leader and social pillar of the community. He was a giant of a man whom God has called home to serve.
He's survived by omwanchi oye (beloved), Josephine Mong'are Ogato; Loving sons Jason “Jay” Ogato, Michael “Momo” Ogato, and Brian "Sokoro" Moronge Ogato. He was a brother to the late Gideon Mabeya, the late Otwori, the late Jackson Mokua, Elkanah Momanyi Ogato and Naftali Shem Ogato, Rusaliah Kerubo Onwong'a, Abigael Bonareri Onami, Tabitha Nyaundi and the late Moraa; nephews and nieces; and a host of family and friends.
