Eulalia Janetta (Tucker) Williams, known as Mom, Memaw, Grandma, Aunt Janetta to her family and Jan to her friends, went to be with her husband in heaven on May 8, 2021.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Wade Family Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Wiles officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Mask will be required by request of the family.
Jan was born on October 28, 1932, in Roseclaire, IL. She was the 5th child of 7, and was the youngest girl, of James Vevas Tucker, Sr. and Eula (Marglin) Tucker. When she was very young, the family moved to Karbers Ridge, IL, where she attended Karbers Ridge Elementary School and graduated from Cave-in-the-Rock High School.
She is survived by her children, Asa James Williams and wife Marjory, Stephen Andrew Williams and wife Charlotte, Eliza Janet Williams, and Kathleen Rose Wilson and husband Eric; 8 grandchildren, James, Stephanie, Stephen, Angela, Matthew, Isabella, and Tanis; 2 great grandchildren, Lincoln, and Benjamin; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as many friends.
Jan is preceded in death by her parents, James and Eula (Marglin) Tucker; husband of 64 years, Major (Ret.) George Nathaniel Williams, Jr.; siblings, Herschel David Tucker, Virginia (Tucker) Miller, Norma Jacqueline (Tucker) Leacy, Rosetta (Tucker) Drumm, James Vevas Tucker, Jr., and Philip Glenn Tucker.
