Gene Naham, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 12th 2017.
Celebration of life pending.
He was born on September 16, 1929 in Fort Worth, TX to George and Minnie Naham. He graduated from Paschal HS. Gene was an Air Force veteran and served as combat artist in Korea/Japan/Philippines. He was a “people person” and worked in sales and banking. His greatest passions were music/singing/opera (member of San Francisco Opera chorus (tenor) and Madeira Manchester Music Club of Fort Worth; sang with “The Three Tenors”; sang National Anthem twice at Candlestick Park) and cooking/eating grape leaves.
Gene is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Regina Schilling and Vickey Mascorro.
Those left to cherish fond memories of “Uncle Gene” are brother-in-laws Ralph Schilling and Frank Mascorro, nephew Paul (Margaret) Mascorro, nieces Susan (Timothy) Watson, MaryAnn (Greg) Sligh, Barbara (Daniel) Schneweis, Gini Mascorro and numerous cousins and great-nephews and great-nieces.
