Etha Ballard Hegar, 93, died Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, at First United Methodist Church of Arlington. Memorials: In lieu of flower, donations may be made to Arlington Life Shelter. Etha was born in Mississippi on March 22, 1926. She was married to Daniel T. Hegar for over 50 years and they made their home in Arlington, TX. Etha was a homemaker and had a passion for community service. Survivors: Daughters, Susan Hegar and Gerry Thurston and husband, David; son, Hampton Hegar and wife, Cindy; granddaughters, Jamie Hensley and husband, Luke, Megan Bralow and husband, Richard and Audrey Thurston; grandsons, Bryant Hegar and Russell Thurston; and great-granddaughters, Gracie Delarosa and Stella Bralow.
