Esperanza Olga Solis

Esperanza Olga Solis passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 in Arlington. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish, 1927 SW Green Oaks Blvd. Arlington TX 76017. Interment of ashes will be at 2:30 July 15th at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1200 S. Davis Drive, Arlington. Olga was married and divorced to Ignacio Rey Solis. Her parents were Manuel Sanchez and Anita Sanchez of Brady, Texas. Olga went to Brady High School and later on moved to Brownwood, Texas to raise her family. She currently lived at Green Oaks Nursing Home in Arlington, Texas. She died unexpectedly from sepsis and pneumonia. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. Olga loved to hunt, fish, and was known for sewing. She loved to make beautiful wedding dresses and prom dresses. She was also known for making wedding cakes. She was preceded in death by her brother, Artenio Sanchez of Colorado; sister, Yolanda Sandoval of Arlington, Texas. Survivors: Olga had three children, Sylvana Lawson and husband, Randy, and their two children Trevor Lawson (26) and Teagan Lawson (21). Angelica McFarland and husband, Sean and their three children-Kellen McFarland (20), Casey McFarland (19), and Celena McFarland McFarland (13). Michael Solis and wife, Shannon and their three children Alexis Solis (18), Caitlyn Solis (14) and Haven Solis (9); step-children, Janessa Vargas Perea (25), Addriana Stokes (19), Addarrel Stokes (15), Marcos Mullen (9); grandchildren - Draven Clark (7) and Lillyanna Contreras (1) yr old. Olga had 7 siblings, Alice Bennevidez of San Angelo, Manuel Sanchez and wife, Mela of Kerrville TX, Roy Sanchez and wife, Mary of Brady Texas, Eloy Sanchez and wife, Rose of Brownwood Texas, Dorinda Sanchez of Albuquerque New Mexico together with Debbie Sanchez; brother-in-law, Rudy Sandoval of Arlington Texas.
