Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 5, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Graveside Service: 1 p.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.

Vic was born on January 23, 1932 in Wapato, Washington to Earn A. Dubee and Della Marie Naff Dubee. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force immediately after graduating from high school and served as a camera repairman during the Korean Conflict. Vic worked as a photographer and editor for WFAA Channel 8 News from ’71-’91 and with KXAS Channel 5 News from ’91-’93, winning a local Emmy award in 1987. He enjoyed his work as a photojournalist which provided him unusual experiences such as a flight with the Navy’s Blue Angels, a trip into the eye of a hurricane, and a chance to pilot the Goodyear blimp. He loved the Texas Rangers Baseball Club and enjoyed traveling to Spring Training every year for Channel 8. He was thrilled to attend the first ever World Series game played in Arlington in 2010.

Vic loved to tell stories about his work and travels. He enjoyed fishing and oil painting. He enjoyed listening to country music, especially Charlie Pride. But most of all he loved time with his family.

Vic was nothing if not dependable, and was always there for his wife and family. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Vic was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: Beloved wife, Betty Jean Digby Dubee; sister Debra Thomas; daughters Vicki Massie and Cindy Eigel; sons Melvin Dubee and Scott Dubee; grandchildren Amy, Matt, Amber, Morgan, Katrina, and Helen; great-grandchildren Taylor, Mason, McKena, and Max.
