Ennedina Ibarra Dominguez, 79, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 in Arlington.

Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Friday, August 5, at St. Joseph Catholic Parish, 1927 SW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington.  Entombment: 2 p.m. Monday, August 8, at San Fernando Cemetery II, San Antonio. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 4, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Ennedina was born on July 18, 1943 in Phoenix, Arizona to Paul Nunez Ibarra and Santo Miranda Ibarra. She was a small town, bobby socks and petty coat kind of girl. She met the love of her life at the age of 15 in Phoenix. Ennedina married Alfonso S. Dominguez on May 21, 1959. She was very proud of her family and enjoyed raising her children. She sacrificed everything for her children whom she loved dearly. She taught her children to have faith in God’s word and how to pray. She wanted her children to have a strong family bond and strong faith. She taught her children the skills for self-discipline.

Ennedina was a great cook and made the best vegetable soup. One of her family traditions was making tamales at Christmas. She always made sure her husband had a good batch of pinto beans.

Ennedina liked to dance and listen to all genres of music. She enjoyed singing Tom Jones and Elvis Presley songs. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Ennedina was preceded in death by her brother, Rudy Garcia.

Survivors: Beloved husband, Alfonso S. Dominguez; sons, Alfonso “Boy” Dominguez, Felix Anthony Dominguez and Isaac Dominguez; daughters, Monica Matilda Bowen, Veronica Rivera, Minnie Alma DeMorat, Mary Ellen Greene, Cecilia Merritt and Melinda Dominic Davis; brothers, Eddie Garcia and Juaquin Garcia; and sisters, Pearl, Ruth “Leka”, Virginia and Josie; and a host of other family members and friends.
