Emily Jane Moss

ARLINGTON -- Emily Jane Moss, 85, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, in Arlington. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Woodland West Church of Christ, 3101 W. Park Row Drive, Arlington, the Rev. Randy Todd officiating. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Emily was born Dec. 10, 1928 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She resided in Arlington for the past 44 years and was a member of Woodland West Church of Christ. Emily was a volunteer for Arlington Memorial Hospital and for Hearts and Hands. She retired from the University of Texas at Arlington where she was a clerk for many years. Emily enjoyed Bible study and working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Moss, who was chaplain at Arlington Memorial Hospital and a retired Arlington minister. Survivors: Sons, Eric Moss and wife, Lisa, Kevin Moss and wife, Joyce; sister, Joyce Faulkner and husband, Bob; grandchildren, Trey Fixico, Dean Moss, Shandy Gee, Alita Bourne, Brandy Deets and Andy Moss; and eight great-grandchildren.
