Ellen Louise Hummel

Louise Hummel passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, in Arlington. Funeral: Requiem Mass at noon Monday, Dec. 3, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 3900 Scruggs Drive, North Richland Hills. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Rosary: 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Louise was born Oct. 29, 1927, in Charleston, Ill., to Benjamin Schneider and Edith Barraclough Schneider. She worked as a flight attendant for American Airlines prior to getting married. Louise was a very accomplished watercolor and commercial artist. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Hummel Jr.; son, Steven Hummel; and daughter, Deborah Olson. Survivors: Son, Tracy Hummel; and granddaughter, Brooke Michie.
