Elizabeth Gaye Christiansen

Betty Christiansen, 74, passed away at her home on December 17th after extended battle with cancer.
Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 28th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel at 3809 Curt Drive, Arlington TX 76016. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 on the day of the service.
Betty is survived by her mother, Doris Peck, Jim, her husband of 53 years, her eight children: James, Brian, David, John, Rebecca Dalmas, Rachel Clark, Nathan, and Laurel Steele, thirty-one grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Betty attended Brigham Young University where she received her Mrs. She later received her BA in music at Texas Woman’s University. She was an accomplished musician, seamstress, needle worker, wife, mother, and grandma.
She was a life-long dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her kindness towards others throughout her life reflected her deep faith. She willingly gave of her time and her musical abilities in the church and her communities and instilled her peaceful spirit in her family and many others.
She was born in Oklahoma City.
