ARLINGTON -- Eli James Turner, born December 9, 2011, a sweet, loving, and joyful boy, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, July 19, 2013.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Fielder Church, 2011 S. Fielder Rd. Arlington with Rev. David Pointer officiating. Viewing: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Memorials: They ask in lieu of flowers for a donation to be made in Eli's name to Cook Children's PICU.
Eli James was born to Brian and Julia Turner of Arlington. He loved playing ball, swimming, watching Bubble Guppies, and reading books. Eli spent 5 days in the PICU at Cook Children's Medical Center. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses who cared for him so tenderly.
Survivors: Eli is survived by his mommy and daddy, Brian and Julia Turner of Arlington; brothers, Micah and Gabe; sister, Emily; his puppies, Dottie, Cleo and Albus; grandparents, Jimmy and Jan Ward of Arlington, Jack and Yohanne Byerly of Arlington; aunt, Janae Champion; cousins, Tre, Scott and Riley; great-grandparents, Molly and Donald Ward of Coleman; and many other loving family and friends.
