Elfriede "Kitty" Hildegard Webster

Elfriede Hildegard "Kitty" Webster, née Bauer, aged 86, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away on November 12, 2024. Born in Ziegelhausen, Germany, on March 12, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Marie Bauer.

Educated in her hometown of Ziegelhausen-HD, Kitty eventually took on roles that spoke to her nurturing soul: she became a wonderful caregiver, and later in life, served as a Certified Shampoo Technician at Shelton Salon & Day Spa.

She was such an amazing cook that family and friends still reminisce about her delicious homemade meals. She loved crocheting and made many beautiful Afghan's that are still cherished today by friends and loved ones. Later in life, Kitty resided at The Pavilion at Creekwood for several years. She was so proud to be nominated as Vice President for the Resident's Council. She made many friends and never met a stranger. Kitty loved big and on any given day you could see her giving away candy and popcorn to her favorite people. She loved music and dancing and everything fun. She could even be seen dancing in her wheelchair front and center and definitely danced like no one was watching. She loved to surround herself in beauty and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds outside her window and attending to her flower garden on her windowsill.

Kitty was preceded in death by her sister, Ursel Mutzberg, her beloved son, Buddy James Webster, and her treasured grandson, Matthew James Webster.

Her memory is cherished and kept alive by her surviving siblings, Helga Bauer and Christel Wanjek, her children, Kenneth Karl Webster (Diann), Rebecca Jean Sulin (George), Christina Lucille Weddle (Doug), and her devoted daughter-in-law Joyce Webster (Buddy's wife). She will also be fondly remembered by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A funeral service will be held in Kitty's honor at the Wade Funeral Home & Crematory located in Arlington, Texas on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 2:00pm. Kitty's life was a testament to her caring nature and her spirit of generosity. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
