Eduardo Jesus Torrealba was born in the family home in Guacara, Carabobo, Venezuela, on July 10, 1956. He was welcomed by his parents, Eduardo and Georgina, and sisters, Nancy and Miriam. He passed from this life into the next on March 13, 2024.
In August of 1977 Eduardo chose to attend Texarkana College. He visited Beech Street First Baptist Church in Texarkana where he met and later married his wife of 43 years, Cindy Reavis. It was at this church where Eduardo professed faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized. For this reason, we have hope to see him again in heaven one day.
Eduardo and Cindy married on June 6, 1980, and then moved to Arlington since he was studying mechanical engineering at UTA. They went on to have four children together; Amanda (Marc) King, Eduardo III (Lisa) Torrealba, Connor (Patience) Torrealba, and Emily Torrealba. He started his own heating and air conditioning company and remained self-employed for 35 years. Eduardo was well known to his customers as a man who could fix just about anything, even when other technicians had given up and advised an item just be replaced. He liked solving the puzzle of a broken machine, sometimes making a needed part if he could not find one to buy.
One activity he particularly enjoyed was motorcycle riding. He loved the adventure of it, riding dirt trails or exploring back roads.
Eduardo was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren Adaline King, Benjamin King, and Maya Torrealba, his sisters, and other extended family members.
