Edna "Sue" Mae Castell

Edna Mae “Sue” Castell, 91, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 13, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 1:15 p.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Sue was born on August 30, 1927 in Rising Star, Texas to Earl Richard Prestridge and Ethel Nora Watson Prestridge. She was a member of the North Davis Church of Christ in Arlington. Sue was a former Chief of Civil Personnel at George Air Force Base in CA and served 33 years in Civil Service (Ranked GS-12). She also served at Tinker Air Force Base in OK. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven Freeman; sisters, Kay and Aubrey; and brother, Ray. Survivors: Husband, Boniface Benito Castell (Capt. USAF); sons, Vince, Gary, and Craig; nephews, Richard Riley, Don Riley and wife, Donna, and Mike Prestridge; and nieces, Connie Berry and husband, Jeff, Judy Phelps, and Brenda Ford.
