Edna Bea Leslie

Edna Bea Leslie, 90, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 in Mansfield. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Hillcrest Church of Christ, 1401 Hillcrest Dr, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Edna was born on January 3, 1931 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Lafe Wood and Sara Beatrice Mann Wood. An Arlington resident since 1958, she was an active member and Treasurer of Hillcrest Church of Christ for many years. Edna was a Vice President at Arlington Bank and Trust. She was well known for her baking and delicious homemade jellies and cinnamon rolls. Edna volunteered for many years at Hearts and Hands. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Gary George Leslie in December of 1981; twin grandsons; her parents; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers. Survivors: Daughters, Linda Watson and husband, Wells, Susan Crimmings and husband, Glenn, and Connie Bea Bumgardner and husband, Don; grandchildren, Julie Meek (Mike), J.W. Watson (Missy), Ryan Crimmings (Brittany), Randall Crimmings (Allison), Jerame Bumgardner (Shelli), Jake Bumgardner (Jennifer); 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
