Edgar Eugene Counts

Edgar Eugene Counts passed away peacefully on January 13, 2023 in Haslet, Texas at the age of 82.

He was born in Parkersburg, WV on January 4, 1941 to I. J. Counts and Ada Deem Counts. He attended schools in Fort Myers, Florida.

Edgar married Lynn B Counts in 1982 and they remained married for 38 years until her death in 2020. He loved to laugh and joke with everyone. He enjoyed playing Bingo, card games, and computer games. He also loved to paint, play golf and watch sports.

Edgar was preceded in death by his wife Lynn B Counts; parents I. J. Counts and Ada Deem Counts; and four of his five siblings.

He is survived by sons Edgar Counts and Scott Counts; brother Rush Counts; step-daughters Marsha Gillespie, Jamie Gillespie, grandchildren Justin Saxer and Roxanne Hasty.

Edgar will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
