Douglas “Doug” Nesbit Cox

Douglas “Doug” Nesbit Cox, 74, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend. Doug sadly passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 in Arlington.

Doug worked for the City of Arlington Water Dept. and also for Republic Industries until retirement. Doug enjoyed the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. Doug will be missed by all.

Doug have was preceded in death by his mom, Edna Pearl Cox, father, Emmett Duran Cox, Daughter Sabrina Gail Cox and Brother Emmett Cox.

Doug is survived by wife Linda Cox of Arlington, son, Douglas Dean Cox of Alvarado, Brother Duane Cox of Lubbock, Stepson Robby Thomas and wife Shelly of Burleson, step daughter Ginger Thomas of Arlington. Doug was also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
