Dorothy Louise Record, 97, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday, April 8, at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Mount Olivet Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, at the funeral home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Dorothy was born on August 3, 1923 in Fort Worth to James Milton Easterwood and Effie Cordillia Spurgeon Easterwood. A lifelong Fort Worth resident, she lived in Northside before residing in Riverside for the past 54 years. She worked as a pre-school private school teacher for over 45 years.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ in Fostepco Heights and Midtown. She loved children and babies; and dearly loved her family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Reagin D. Record in 1984; and 2 daughters, Billie Record McCray in 1986 and Kathy Powers in 2009.
Survivors: Daughters, Barbara Dalrymple and husband, Tim; Gina Moss and husband, Jimmy; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
