Dorothy Ben Gustine passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, July 14, 2017. Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Henderson officiating. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Arlington Urban Ministries, 701 Dugan Street, Arlington, Texas 76010. Dorothy was born to Ben and Odell (Othermama) Estes on June 29, 1924. Dorothy was famous for her precious hugs. She loved and was loved by all those that knew her. Dorothy loved unconditionally, always putting others before herself. She was an angel to many here on earth. Dorothy was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the ABC Class. She was a volunteer for Arlington Urban Ministries (NU2U) for over 10 years. The doors of her home were always open for friends and family to come in. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Gustine; and her beloved sister, Olga. Survivors: Daughter and husband, Brenda and Don Henderson; grandchildren: Shannon Yost and her husband, Steve; John Henderson and granddog, Lucy; Ben Henderson and his wife, Debbie; great-grandchildren: Holly Kay, Whitney, Jake, Cooper and Harper; great great-grandchildren: Zach, Maggie Rose, Riley, Luke, and Gus; nieces (Daughters): Patricia Shiver and Dottie Lou Brewer and husband, Jimmy; and many great nieces, nephews and their children.
